If science is not your best subject but participating in the conservation and understanding of marine mammals or the marine environment is your passion, you can still get involved. Marine science organizations, government agencies and universities all need support staff, and some use volunteers. At The Marine Mammal Center, other career positions include administration, accounting, computer systems, development (including grant writing), membership, human resources (paid staff and volunteer management), facilities, water systems, retail, marketing and communications. We also rely on the dedication of over 800 volunteers that work in all aspects of our organization. Special youth opportunites are available. So cruise our web site, learn more and get involved!
